MEMORY IN FLUX [in the urban flow of ankara]
In history, Hatip stream was playing an important role for the city center together with the settlement around the citadel. However, the usage of the space has changed as the stream is buried under the ground. In the urban scenario, it is daylighted and the collective memory of the place, even the intangible memories besides the tangible ones were taken out of the ground and made visible again. As a continuation of the started urban regeneration, the process has the power to bring all the citizens together in a node by studying the interwoven states of time, memory and space. Social sustainability can also be provided by means of enriching public spaces in which the collective memory of the space is collected, processed and exhibited.
